Production Run = 2,940 (confirmed)
Value of each card ~ $75
Value of full set ~ $300
In early 1991, Megacards released four(4) sample cards to display the design to be used for their first Megacards Set of 330 to be released later that year. These cards were distinguishable from the main set cards as follows..
#111 Lou Gehrig
(no Curtis Management or MLB copyright on the back of the card)
#110 Babe Ruth
(no Curtis Management or MLB copyright on the back of the card)
#250 Ty Cobb
(no Curtis Management or MLB copyright on the back of the card)
#34 Dizzy Dean
(no Curtis Management or MLB copyright on the back of the card)
AND differs in card number from the main set (#3 in production set)
The rarity of these cards is likely due to the fact they were never sold, but distributed through sales agents to purchasers - not collectors.
These four(4) cards are the "Holy Grail" of the Conlon hobby. My Conlon Collection is missing 5 cards - and these are 4 of them.

See the 1991-95 Prototype/Promotional cards checklist for these cards.
