The 60 cards of Series 1 (1986) each feature a "Baseball Immortals Smithsonian Institution" logo in the lower left corner, the only graphic on the borderless card front.

The 60 cards of Series 2 (1987) have no front logo

The Series 3-5 sets (1988) consisted of 30 cards each. The cards featured a "Baseball Immortals 1905-1935 The Conlon Collection" logo in the lower left corner, the only graphic on the borderless card front. Production numbers for sets 3-5 were 10,000 rather than 12,000 of the first two sets. Cards in Series 3-5 are not numbered and series designations are in small print at back - bottom right.
